Description:
The Cape Poge District was designated to prevent damage from erosion, to preserve and enhance the character of views, to maintain the quality of well water, to enhance and protect recreation uses, to avoid impacts associated with certain recreational uses, to protect the quality of fin and shell fisheries, to maintain and enhance the fishing economy and to promote and protect wildlife habitats.
