Since its creation, the MVC has actively worked to protect the Island's water resources. This has been done in close relation with towns and a number of local agencies. The Water Resources department is involved with monitoring Island ponds, both fresh and salt, as well as our watersheds, groundwater, stormwater, and wastewater.
