The MVC has collected a series of 21 oral histories with former commissioners, staff, and others, spanning more than 50 years of Island history. 

A selection of audio clips is available on the MVC YouTube channel, and a book of written narratives and photos, published in 2025, is available for free at the MVC building and as a PDF.
