The MVC receives financial support through assessments to the seven towns of Dukes County, and through grants from both public and private entities. The MVC is also authorized to accept private contributions. Funding is vital to support the MVC's planning efforts, distribution of public information, and legal costs.

Budget

The Executive Director and Chief Fiscal Officer, in collaboration with the MVC Finance Committee, prepare the annual budget. Adopted each January, it outlines expected revenues and expenditures for both the current and upcoming years.
