The full Commission generally meets on the third Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m. Other meetings are held as required, generally on other Thursday evenings at 6:30 p.m. Meetings are held at the Stone Building, 33 New York Avenue, Oak Bluffs, unless otherwise posted.

Land Use Planning Committee (LUPC)

Plays a role in the review of Developments of Regional Impact (DRIs). Before a public hearing is scheduled, the LUPC meets applicants to ensure that the application is complete and to approve the scope of traffic studies. After the public hearing is closed, the LUPC analyzes the materials provided during the hearing and formulates recommendations for consideration by the full Commission. Meets most Mondays at 5:30 p.m. on Zoom. 

Executive Committee

Made up of the chair, vice-chair, clerk-treasurer, and the chairs of the Land Use Planning Committee and Planning and Economic Development Committee.

Planning and Economic Development Committee (PED)

Works on ongoing planning and economic development issues.

Finance Committee

Meets from October to January to help prepare the Commission's annual budget.

Compliance Committee

Convenes as needed to review issues related to lack of compliance with conditions of DRI decisions and advise the Commission and staff on possible follow-up.

Other Ad-Hoc Committees

Set up as needed to deal with special issues.
