Draft Regional Transportation Plan FFY 2020-2040 Comments Due July 15, 2019
The Regional Transportation Plan (RTP) sets the vision for the regional transportation system through a look at the existing inventory and operations, setting goals and strategies, and then working within the estimated funding to establish priorities for the Island transportation system improvements. It looks 20 years ahead and frames long and short-term strategies that will result in the development of an integrated multimodal regional transportation system. By analyzing the existing and future conditions of the region's transportation system, the Plan identifies needs, recommends further study and suggests for possible solutions.
The FFY 2020-2040 RTP has been released for a 21-day public review and comment period. The public is invited to review this document and provide comments. Copies are available for review at the MVC Offices (8:30 AM to 4:00 PM), or at the links above. Comments are due by 5 PM on Monday, July 15, 2019. Comments can be sent to Alex Elvin.
